The focus of the Comparative Proteomics Center is the identification of proteins with differential occurrence in cells, tissues or in affinity purifications. We use two complementary techniques to compare different proteomes. The first is label-free shotgun protein profiling. Another technique called difference gel electrophoresis (DIGE)is also used. We are always interested in doing collaborative projects with research groups at other institutions. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
