Facility Details

The Antibody and Bioresource Core Facility supports researchers at both Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and The Rockefeller University by making it easier for them to:

1.) Develop new monoclonal antibodies that meet their experimental needs through any combination of these services:

... Consultation
... Immunization of mice, rats and Armenian hamsters
... Electrofusion (B cell immortalization / generation of 10,000's of hybridoma)
... Isolation of IgG secreting hybridomas, which is 1 - 20% of the hybridomas, for screening to enable a greater number of hybridomas are screened
... ELISA screening
... Cryopreservation and storage of positive cultures
... Subcloning
... Cryopreservation and storage of unscreened fusion products / hybrridomas for future screening

2.) Produce monoclonal antibodies

... Conditioned Media
...... 1 to 10 ug monoclonal antibody / ml

... Bioreactor Supernatants:
...... 0.5 to 4 mg monoclonal antibody / ml
...... Purity ranges from 20 to 80%

... Purified monoclonal antibodies:
...... 1 to 10 mg monoclonal antibody / ml
...... Purity > 95%

... Conjugations

... Fragmentation

3.) Mycoplasma Testing

4.) Obtain cell lines developed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and The Rockefeller University

This facility is designed to be both an informational resource as well as a group that provides services for a fee.

Depending upon internal demand, external requests are welcome.
