Facility Details

The Antibody & Bioresource Core Facility supports researchers at both Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and The Rockefeller University by making it easier for them to:

1.) Develop new monoclonal antibodies that meet their experimental needs through any combination of these services:

• Consultation (more than 25 years of experience in Antibody Discovery)
• Immunization of mice and rats
• Electrofusion (B cell immortalization / generation of 10,000’s of hybridomas) and cryopreservation of a portion of the fusion for future screening campaigns
• Isolation of IgG secreting hybridomas, which is 1 - 20% of all the hybridomas generated, for screening to maximize the number of hybridomas screened
• ELISA screening
• Cryopreservation and storage of positive cultures
• Subcloning

2.) Obtain cell lines and hybridomas developed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and The Rockefeller University

3.) Cell Line Authentication

4.) Mycoplasma Testing

This facility is designed to be both an informational resource as well as a group that provides services for a fee.
