The Cell Based High-Throughput Screening (CBS) core provides investigators with access to genome-wide collections of cDNAs, microRNA-adapted short hairpin (shRNA) retroviral libraries, and siRNA libraries that can be used to interrogate cellular models of signal transduction pathways and phenotypes. The core has also assembled a variety of smaller focus sets form each larger library as wells as chemical libraries available for cell-based screens.
Screening libraries in 384 well format:
1) Mammalian Genome Collection cDNA library
2) Transomics Retroviral microRNA-adapted short hairpin RNA (shRNA-mir) library
3) Gal4 Nuclear Hormone Receptor
4) Gal4 Transcription Factor Library
5) Focused cDNA sets, such as GPCRs, Kinases, and Ubiquitin from the MGC Collection
6) Prestwick Chemical Library set includes 1120 compounds that are all approved and marketed drugs in 96 and 384 well plates
