Phillips CM10 transmission electron microscope:
-side-entry goniometer
-maintained on service contract
-resolution: 0.3 nm (point-to-point)
-Accelerating voltage: 40, 60, 80, 100 kV
-Magnification range: 18X to 450,000X
The Phillips CM10 provides magnification from 18x to 450,000x and a resolution of 0.3nm. It is capable of accelerating voltages from 40-100kV, but operates at 80kV for most biological purposes. You can observe your specimen on the screen, or capture images on 4" x 4" film. The camera holds 56 sheets of film, and micrographs are printed with magnifications and sequential identification numbers. Negatives can be scanned for digital storage and manipulation on your own.
