The Integrated Genomics Lab houses three cores providing support and services from nucleic acid isolation through data generation on multiple genomic and molecular analysis platforms. Nucleic acid extraction, microarray and qPCR services are available through the Gene Profiling Shared Resource for gene expression profiling, microRNA profiling, DNA genotyping and copy number analysis, and DNA methylation analyses. Currently running Affymetrix and Illumina array platforms and QuantStudio real-time PCR system. Comprehensive RNA and DNA extraction and quality assessment services available.
Massively parallel sequencing (NGS)services, including library preparation, are available through the Massively Parallel Sequencing Shared Resource on the Illumina HiSeq and NextSeq platforms. Cell line authentication, DNA plating, and oligosynthesis services are available through the DNA Services Core.
The Gene Profiling SR is actively engaged in protocol optimization for small sample quantities, FFPE samples, biofluids, and other challenging sample types. The GPSR and MPSSR have optimized protocols for expression array and RNA-Seq using whole blood samples and FFPE specimens.
