The Genomics Core Facility provides services using several different next-generation sequencing platforms. Applications supported include:
Whole-genome and transcriptome sequencing of non-model organisms
Amplicon sequencing for metagenomic studies
Differential expression analysis of mRNA and miRNA
Degradome sequencing
ChIP and RIP sequencing
Services are offerred outside of Pennsylvania State University
Consulting is offerred outside of Pennsylvania State University
Illumina MiSeq System
Access focused applications such as targeted resequencing, metagenomics, small genome sequencing, targeted gene expression profiling, and more. MiSeq reagents enable up to 15 Gb of output with 25 million sequencing reads and 2 × 300 bp read lengths. [Product Link]
