Facility Details

The TEAM Hub has four research facilities:
1. BioImaging Research Node houses our state-of-the-art commercial and custom imaging systems. Focused on optical imaging.
2. Tissue Engineering & Biomaterials Testing Research Node is equipped with a microfluidics 3D bioprinter and mechanical testers, which facilitate the development of artificial 3D biological tissue models and the biomechanical testing of different biomaterials and biomedical samples.
3. The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Research Node houses our hypoxia chamber and systems for the characterization and quantification of proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids.
4. The Cellular Biology Research Node has been designed to support the development and use of 3D tissue models. It houses a flow cytometer for phenotyping and performing functional testing of cells and bacteria; a Seahorse Analyzer for evaluation of metabolic activity of cells; and an Incucyte for live-cell imaging of cells and tissues in culture.
