The Advanced Microscopy Unit (UMA) at INECOL is a service laboratory that supports research in various scientific disciplines through advanced microscopy techniques (fluorescence, electron, and optical) and micro-CT. This support aims to generate high-impact, cutting-edge knowledge and transfer it to the productive sector. In addition to providing technical services and consulting to users in the public and private sectors, both nationally and internationally, the UMA provides support to help them achieve optimal research outcomes. Other services offered by UMA-INECOL include training highly qualified personnel through academic internships and/or specialized courses in advanced microscopy. As part of its commitment to the social appropriation and dissemination of knowledge, UMA-INECOL coordinates guided tours for groups from various public and private educational institutions.
