Introducing announcements.

Announcements can help spread the word about upcoming meetings, new groups forming, a new facility or a new capability of your facility you wish to offer to others, and more.

Announcements come in three types: Offer, Request, and General.

Use Offer for anything you wish to promote about your core, such as a new service or new instrumentation.

Use Request for any specific request for service or equipment.

Use General for a general anouncement to the community.

The top three announcements get promoted on the CM home page. Additionally, the menu item at top tracks the number of announcements available.
