Description:

The Comparative Pathology Laboratory (CPL) is a veterinary diagnostic laboratory and research pathology core. CPL serves the UC system and external research community by providing laboratory animal diagnostics, clinical and health surveillance screening necessary for the care and use of animals in research, and expert pathology support for basic and translational research. Research services include gross necropsy, hematology, serum biochemistry, histology, immunohistochemistry, and histopathology interpretation and scoring by a board-certified comparative pathologist. Consultation and training is offered. Health surveillance and disease diagnostic services are also available.
