Instrumentation:

Anton Parr Anton Parr Rheometer

Anton Paar Rheometer enables a rotational and/or oscillatory test for measurement of a variety of characteristic properties such as viscoelastic behavior, deformation/sheer stress, etc.

Anton Parr Anton Parr SurPASS Electrokinetic Analyzer

The SurPASS electrokinetic analyzer enables the investigation of electrokinetic effects at the solid/liquid interface for solids of almost any size and shape. By measuring the streaming potential or streaming current of macroscopic solids, the SurPASS provides the zeta potential as the primary information.

Bruker Bruker Dimension FastScan

The Bruker Dimension FastScan delivers, for the first time, extreme imaging speed without sacrificing legendary resolution and performance. This breakthrough innovation enables radically faster time to publishable data for all levels of AFM expertise.

Bruker Dimension Icon Scanning Probe Microscope

The Bruker Dimension Icon Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM) is a state-of-the-art measurement system that brings new levels of performance, functionality, and accessibility to nanoscale researchers. The Icon system incorporates temperature-compensating position sensors that enable extraordinary performance in a large-sample, closed-loop, 90-micron scan range system. In addition to superior resolution, the Icon provides higher scan speeds without loss of image quality, a high-resolution camera and X-Y positioning for more efficient sample navigation, and the latest version of NanoScope software with intuitive workflow and default experiment modes.

Bruker-JPK JPK Nanowizard 4A

The NanoWizard® 4a BioScience atomic force microscope combines atomic resolution fast, scanning and a large scan range of 100µm in one system. It is designed to provide highest mechanical and thermal stability on inverted optical microscopes during long term experiments on samples ranging from single molecules to living cells and tissues.

Malvern Malvern Zetasiver NanoZS

Zetasizer Nano ZS is used for the measurement of the size, electrophoretic mobility of proteins, zeta potential of colloids and nanoparticles, and optionally the measurement of protein mobility and microrheology of protein and polymer solutions. The high performance of the Zetasizer Nano ZS also enables the measurement of the molecular weight and second virial coefficient, A2, of macromolecules and kD, the DLS interaction parameter.

Perkin Elmer Perkin Elmer NexION 2000 ICP-MS

ICP-MS analysis is available for researchers to rapidly determine the qualitative and quantitative composition with wide element coverage (~80 elements) in a single run. The uniquely constructed facility enables the chemical analysis at a part per trillion (ppt, pg/mL) scale with high sensitivity, which shows a much lower detection limit as compared to other analytical instruments (e.g., ICP-OES, AAS).
