Description:

Laboratory for Regenerative Neuroscience / GlowLab is a multimodal preclinical in vivo imaging facility for small laboratory animals such as mice and rats. Our strongest expertise is in brain research, however it is possible to provide imaging services on any part of or on the entire animal. The key instruments in the facility are the magnetic resonance imager (Bruker BioSpec 70/20 USR) and the optical bioluminescence/fluorescence imager (Perkin Elmer IVIS Spectrum), fully equipped with anesthesia delivery and physiological monitoring/control system. The imaging unit of GlowLab is complemented by a cell culture laboratory and a small animal surgery room, allowing to set up and perform entire experimental protocols as needed. The facility can provide longitudinal imaging services owing to the animal housing unit within the same space, equipped with individually ventilated cages for both rats and mice (Tecniplast Green line and Emmerald line). Home-cage monitoring is also possible for mice as an additional service with our Tecniplast DVC cages.
