Instrumentation:

FEI Talos F200i TEM and STEM

Microscope that is designed for performance and productivity across a wide range of Materials Science samples and applications. Its standard X-Twin pole piece gap combined with a reproducibly performing electron column opens opportunities for high-resolution 2D and 3D characterization, in situ dynamic observations, and diffraction applications. Leica CM1950 Cryostat

The Leica CM1950 is a highly adaptable cryostat platform that can be tailor-made for each laboratory. By starting with the standard instrument and choosing from a range of options, every laboratory can have a clinical cryostat for their individual needs. Innovation and human-oriented features provide a cryostat with a new level of performance. The CM1950 is a high-performance cryostat with an encapsulated microtome and separate specimen cooling. It features a UV disinfection system, an (optional) integrated extraction system for section waste and an (optional) motor for motorized sectioning. The cryostat is designed to produce frozen sections for biological, medical and industrial applications. The CM1950 is suitable for in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) applications. [Product Link]

Nikon A1R MP Confocal Microscope

Nikon A1R MP is a multiphoton imaging system featuring a high resolution galvanometer scanner and a high speed resonant scanner that is capable of frame rates from 30 fps at 512 x 512 pixels to as fast as 420 fps in band scan mode. New 4 channel non-descanned detectors with higher sensitivity, reduced dark current and broad spectral range allow for real time unmixing of closely spaced probes for accurate and high-contrast spectral imaging. This is especially important in multiphoton microscopy because of the overlap of emission spectra of probes and autofluorescence, which is often unavoidable when using a single laser line.
