Using Announcements

Announcements can help spread the word about upcoming meetings, new groups forming, a new facility or a new capability of your facility you wish to offer to others, and more.

Announcements come in three types: Offer, Request, and General.

Use Offer for anything you wish to promote about your core, such as a new service or new instrumentation.

Use Request for any specific request for service or equipment.

Use General for a general anouncement to the community.

The latest three announcements get promoted on the CM home page. Additionally, the menu item at top tracks the number of announcements available.

If you request specific services or instrumentation, the CM will send emails to all facilities that match your request.
